Die guten alten Technozeiten sind immer wieder mal ein ein großes Thema, insbesondere die Anfangszeit zwisch 1989 und 1993. In einer einer für “Furore” sorgende Facebook-Gruppe (“Zeitmaschine.org“) sorgen die “Raver” der 1990er für eine Ansammlung vieler Fotos und Videos, nicht zuletzt die Doku “We Call It Techno” brachte die frühen Tage wieder ins Gespräch. Wir schließen uns dem in dieser Sendung ein wenig an, fokussieren uns allerdings auf die Zeit von 1995 – 2003. Tanith und WolleXDP kommen dafür ins Studio, spielen Musik aus der Zeit und werden uns einiges zu erzählen haben, was in den jeweiligen Jahren gerade so passierte. Wir erinnern uns: Nicht nur die Zusammenhänge der Technokultur und der New Economy Blase, oder die Auswirkungen des 11 September 2001 werden Thema sein, auch kleinere Entwicklungen, wie Musikstile, Tanzstile  oder sonstige Veränderungen der Techno-Szene.

The time 1989 – 1994 has been well documented by the Techno journalism with movies like “Techno City 1993″, “We Call it Techno” and others. But 1995 – 2003, culture-wise and music-wise has not been subject to documentation yet – maybe the time is too close behind or there are no very interesting topics considered to have happened during that period of time. We’ll go into the matter!. Together with Tanith and WolleXDP, both well known as one of the Techno pioneers and main drivers of Germany’s early Techno scene we will make a trip back  into time. They will play music from these years and give us an interesting retrospection into the Techno culture of that time: The hits, important happenings and influential changes.

Woohoo, here it is: The recording of the New Releases Show,16th March of 2009. As most of you know, in respect of the label wishes we do not offer the New Releases Shows for download. Most of the played tracks are not released yet. But to enable you guys to get more into the new stuff, learn more about it and discuss it we teamed up with Soundcloud. From now on they will be hosting all our shows, this is easier for us and hopefully for you too.

For you this has the advantage to comment on basically every single minute of the recording, ask for track names or give your comments on the stupid things we say. This is rather to be considered as an experiment, so let’s see how it goes. Feedback much appreciated!
