After some years (or so) I finally managed to dj a new mix for you. I grabbed all my new records and made a selection from easy going House music to peak time club sound. And that’s the way I like a evening to start: I begin with groovy and rhythmic, but laid back and subtle tracks. Once a club is packed, I could actually go on with this sleazy laidbackness, cos it’s sexy. Crowd and promoters normally expect a progression, so there it is: Some juicy peak time Schieber, Easyjet ravers listening to this would say: “Oh my god, it’s so berliny”. "Diskomafia is proud to announce Kandel’s “Familie Schroffenstein” EP, which tells the story of a weird family vacation full of surprises. The EP features 4 distinct dancefloor tracks that are bound to be loved by DJs for they tooly feel and by the partycrowd for their fun factor. The title track “Familie Schroffenstein” is an unusual piece of house music, where the main elements are a repetitive synthie melody mingled with pseudo-saxophone funkyness, both topping a wobbly bassline. “Im Nagetiermuseum” is an ode to the Berlin nightlife, featuring an acidic bass, flying cut & paste sounds and odd percussive elements that generate a driving dancefloorkiller. “Die Reise zum heiligen Berg” is the most ‘beautiful’ of the 4 tracks, it refers to a more ‘classic’ Detroit approach in a handcrafted analogue shell. Aside from this breathtaking sunset above the Moseltal our wine-tasting will surely make this night memorable. We have two very special wines picked out for you which I'd like to introduce to you before we begin: Dry and earthy, you'll be able to taste our Zinfandel's origin. Many long nights of Berlin's cheap entertainment made its aroma evolve to what it is today. Its mostly traditional and analog vinification gives it a "warm" aftertaste. With two flavorful highlights and a retarding moment it is, despite its rawness not at all a simple mind, which will start fireworks at exactly the right time. Our Merlot on the other hand possesses a softer, half-dry aroma. But please, ladies and gents, don't underestimate it. With my tongue in my cheek I can assure you that its fidget house imprint, this wine's trademark, is able to stir up the ladies' blood to no end. Thank you for your attention.
