February 3, 2012 | Gesammeltes Wissen über die Techno-Kultur, Social Media Techno Archive | Leave a CommentSaturday night, 3 AM. The floor is full, house music is pumping, everybody is dancing. Two girls enter the DJ booth and ask for certain track names from popular producers (Can you play xxx or xxx from xxx, or do you have anything from Paul Kalkbrenner, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin ..) or even worse: Ask for Madonna, Jay-Z or Birtney Spears. As a dance music DJ you simply ignore or try to get rid of them. The girls are disappointed, think you are an ass and pretty arrogant, but whatever. It's not your fault! They simply don't recognise the difference of discotheque (DJs are jukeboxes there indeed) and clubs (here they are artists). The GRRR angry DJ explains all this, although he himself seems to rather belong to the discotheque sphere (In another video he talks about playing birthday tracks and 50 Cent
But I love the way he does it, and I want producers to sample him.
Here he kinda tells the opposite
Here's another funny one: DJs are stupid !
